Our Commitment

raacon.no is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We follow WCAG 2.2 Level AA standards and continually work to improve the experience for everyone.

Standards We Follow

  • WCAG 2.2 Level AA — Web Content Accessibility Guidelines
  • WAI-ARIA — Accessible Rich Internet Applications for interactive widgets
  • Semantic HTML — Proper heading hierarchy, landmarks, and form labels

What We Do

  • All pages are fully keyboard-navigable
  • Colour contrast ratios meet or exceed 4.5:1 for text and 3:1 for UI components
  • Interactive elements have visible focus indicators
  • Images and icons include descriptive alt text or are marked as decorative
  • The site supports dark and light mode, plus a high-contrast override
  • Animations respect prefers-reduced-motion
  • Pages are structured with proper heading hierarchy and ARIA landmarks
  • All form inputs have associated labels
  • The site works with screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS)
  • High contrast mode and dyslexia-friendly font options are available in Settings
  • A reading guide overlay is available for users who need help tracking lines of text

Supported Languages

raacon.no supports multiple languages. All tool interfaces and content are translated to ensure accessibility regardless of language.

Known Limitations

  • Some fitness tools with interactive charts may have limited screen reader support. We provide data tables alongside all charts.
  • GPX/FIT file visualizations rely on canvas rendering, which is not accessible to screen readers. Alternative text summaries are provided.
  • Third-party content (ads, embedded widgets) may not fully meet our accessibility standards.
